A beautiful piece of art done by the daughter of a friend of mine. You can't quite tell through the photo, but there is a layered effect that makes this such an interesting piece.

- The Time Traveller's Wife (Audrey Niffenegger) - a brilliant love story for those who don't savour the sappy stuff. Persevere past the first few pages, I promise it will be worth it!
- Tara Road (Maeve Binchy) - the heartwarming novel genre taken to new heights that I suggest will impress even the most hard nosed crime/mystery reader
